Awakening to Wisdom
When sleeping women wake, mountains move. - Chinese proverb
We are all aware that there are many mountains in need of moving. Mountains of ignorance and intolerance need to be transformed into peaks of understanding and acceptance, mountains of materialism must be lowered, and mountains of inequality must be transformed into partnership, respect, and egalitarianism.
We who bear the feminine qualities of compassion, intuition, and inclusion are called to awaken to our own prodigious wisdom and to move the mountains that block our paths and obliterate both Brother Sun and Sister Moon. Through our wisdom, we can fashion a powerfully creative and joyful life for ourselves and institute changes that will build a better world for our children and their children's children.
As with everything else, awakening to wisdom begins with ourselves as we realize that each of us is a creation of the Divine and therefore an expression and fulfillment of Divine purpose. As they say in Hawaii, "God don't make junk!" Far from being junk, at the center of our souls, we are innately, inherently, and incredibly wise. When we awaken to act from our wisdom, mountains will move and the Divine will smile with satisfaction.
